U.S. States by Obscure Official State Symbols

Every US state has an official state bird and official state flower; however, many states have gone beyond that to establish other official state symbols. Identify the states associated with these more-obscure official state symbols, each of which has been officially designated by the state legislature.
One symbol is listed for each U.S. state and the District of Columbia.
As you identify the correct state, it will also be grayed-out in on the state list to the right.
Several states have very few official state symbols, so the symbols listed for them are not as unique.
