All modern day countries that have committed genocide

All modern day countries that have committed genocide. Modern day countries only, so no Ottomans, USSR, Third Reich etc. USA is so low because there was only one true genocide, in California. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_genocides_by_death_toll

I don't mean to be insensitive, but can 2,500-3,900 dead really be "committing" genocide? Wouldn't that, at best, be "attempting" it? Again, not trying to minimize the immorality, but the more "genocide" gets watered down, the less impactful it is.

I agree with where you're coming from, but genocide is genocide no matter how many people are killed. The one you're referring to is the genocide of the Selk'nam tribe which killed up to 97.5% of the tribe off, and the lowest on the list is the Ache tribe in Paraguay, where 85% of the tribe was killed off. You could see this an attempt rather than an actual country committing genocide since they weren't fully killed off, but if that was the case we would be pushing off all big genocides you're feeling for right now.

The UK committed several genocides in India, such as Jallianwalla Bagh in Amritsar, the Bengal Famines, etc. Why not include those?

I just used what the source said, there's likely a few missing (given it is wikipedia afterall) unfortunately. I may remake the quiz with a different source sometime, or you could.
