Moon is the opposite of sun in most cultures, you could even say M (moon) = -S (negative sun), and using this same logic, N (Night) = -D (negative day), so since night is negative, and the moon only appears at night, then S = M + N or S = -S + (-D) and two negatives make a positive, so S (Sun) = M (Moon).

True. According to wikipedia, the Soyombo symbol is a geometric abstraction that represents fire, sun, moon, earth, water, and a Taijitu symbol representing the duality of yin and yang.
