The question was 1000 TOTAL goals, not 1000 OFFICIAL goals, my source for this particular stat is the RSSSF Top Scorers page. As for the Uruguayans who won the 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics, those tournaments are considered by Jules Rimet to be World Titles and are definitely worthy of recognition, however that doesn't mean they're to be considered World Cups. There were no players from the 1930 World Cup winning team who also played on the 1950 World Cup winning team.
