A possible way to make the hint more clear is to have the answer column like "Pa{cific Ocean}". This will move the first two letters into the answer box, and leave an underline for the remaining answer there.

I will tidy up the other one soon. I have been tidying up my quizzes here and there all week. At one point I came to the conclusion that most of my quizzes should be taken outside and shot.
