Fleet carrier (a natural blonde, not converted from a battlecruiser). Sunk south-east of Gibraltar on 13 November, 1941 by U-81 commanded by Friedrich Guggenberger.
HMS Ark Royal
Battleship. Elizabeth class. Sunk off Sidi Barrani, Egypt on 25 November, 1941 by U-331 commanded by Freiherr Hans-Diedrich Von Tiesenhausen.
HMS Barham
Battlecruiser. Renown class. Sunk in South China Sea on 10th December, 1941 by Japanese aircraft.

Fleet carrier (world's first ship to be designed as an aircraft carrier). Sunk off Batticaloa, Ceylon on 9 April, 1942 by Japanese aircraft.
HMS Hermes
Fleet carrier. Almirante Latorre class (converted from Almirante Latorre class battleship). Sunk south of Cape Salinas, Majorca on 11 August, 1942 by U-73 commanded by Helmut Rosenbaum.
HMS Eagle
Escort carrier (converted from the US merchant ship Rio-Hudson). Sunk west of Gibraltar on 15 August, 1942 by U-155 commanded by Adolf Piening.
HMS Avenger
Escort carrier. Avenger class (converted from the US merchant ship Rio de Janeiro). Sunk in the Firth of Clyde on 27 March, 1943 by an internal explosion. Cause still unknown.
