As a devoted reader of the world, I say thank you very much for this quiz! I am proud to have read at least one book by several of the authors you included. (21 of them, exactly. I've just counted.)

I think you had better change the hints in some cases, though. Why not add the titles of the books for more authors, for example?

Most of these authors have never been translated into English, which is a shame (I know, as I read in two more languages, and I can see what got translated into those), but there are some who have, for example Alexievich, Andrić, Jelinek, and even Salvadó.

Thank you! Some authors are a bit unknown so I tried to include some additional clues about the country of origin

I can absolutely understand that. :)

Don't take me wrong, it's a great quiz, it deserves to be nominated.

What I really meant was that if you changed the hint in the case of those who have been translated into English, it might make it easier for those from other countries to guess.

Same if you added some more hints in the case of, say, Rainis or Čankar, who are not very well known outside their regions. (Which is a shame. We do happen to have a few books by each in our county library, that's how I knew their names, but I bet not everyone is so lucky. :))

But this is your quiz, not mine, so it's really only a suggestion on my part.
