Complete overhaul of the data. Unfortunately I do not know what happened to my original source, but some of its numbers were inconclusive and inaccurate, it seems. For example, it claimed Albania was 82% Muslim(!) However, most numbers were not exactly outrageous. I do not trust the Wikipedia numbers 100%, for example Maldives claims 100% of its citizens are Muslims, but the figures are more of less as accurate as they are going to get, I feel.
Made it! The width of the second set helpe me guess St Vincent. Of the 4 countries with the word 'Islamic' in the official name, only 1 is in this list!
According to Wikipedia (citing a book about religion in Southeast Asia and the Pacific), there's a mosque in the capital and about 50 followers, which would make the population about 0.5% Muslim.
No, but it's hard to compete with numbers such as 98.8%, (the lowest percentage of Muslims included for Asia). I believe immigration to Saudi Arabia probably lowered the overall Islamic population in relation to other religions, as immigrants coming from India, Nepal, etc. are predominately Hindu.
Just looked it up. While all Saudi Citizens are Muslim by law, this isn't necessarily true. Also, a great number of people in Saudi Arabia are not citizens and practice other religions.
It's by the percentage of the country that follows Islam, not the number of people. Islam is not a popular religion in Oceania, and so Tuvalu, a very small country with 50 Muslims, still made the list. On the other hand, the United States is a very large country and has a somewhat large Muslim population, but the percentage of Muslims is still smaller than, say, Canada.
Also Iraq shouldn't be on this. Out of all the Arab Countries it's very diverse, with a high atheist population and Jewish, Christian and Yezidi within the northern part
I have some doubt that Iraq is 99% Muslim. Maybe the government changed the statistics? Maybe the collector of this data made a mistake because of the political situation? I cannot say for sure, but it is impossible for a quiz like this to be 100% accurate.
Assuming you mean less than 0.1%, shouldn't it be '<0.1%'?
Nice quiz by the way.
