For each selected flag, name the country, territory, or a constituent country of the United Kingdom!
This quiz is based off of this source and this source!
All answers are alphabetical order.
Answer must match to the yellow box that is highlighted beneath the flag
Some territories will have unofficial flags
Some territories will have the same flag as the country which owns the territory itself, so there are a few duplicate flags
This quiz includes Antarctica even though it is not colonized
the alphabetical order makes it more of a ‘guess a country/region between these other two alphabetically’ quiz. scrambling them would make it more about the flags imo
Good quiz, but some errors. Antarctica and therefore French and Southern Antarctic Lands are spelled incorrectly, as well as United States Minor Outlying islands, not outlaying. Also, please accept US virgin islands, just Svalbard for Svalbard and Jan Mayen, and maybe update the Afghanistan flag and switch up the order a bit, because the alphabetical makes it much easier.
Antarctica wrong spelling for both Antarctica and French Southern and Antarctic Lands. US Virgin Islands/Virgin Islands should be accepted. Svalbard and Jan Mayen should have their own standalone names accepted.
Yep, I'll add those changes, but the "repeated" flags can easily be answered if you just type the "parent" country out! Unofficial flags will not be altered though.
Antartica - > antarctica
Åland -> aland (so people with an english keyboard can type it)
Some french territories, such as Reunion and French Guiana, are actually have the same status as a State( Like hawaii is to the USA)
More type ins, like 'Cook' for cook islands, 'BIOT, British Indian' for British indian ocean territory
I'd refrain from including repeat flags like Bouvet Island and Heard Island as well.
Sudan, Suriname, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland
"Turks and Caicos" needs to work, there is no need to require "Islands" on the end and it's not consistent with other answers to do so. This is key.
"BVI" and "USVI" should be accepted. This is key.
"St Martin" should work for both French and Dutch side. This is less important.
"St. Pierre" without needing "Miquelon." Judgment call.
