Thank you for the quiz from Suomi!

You are from Nihon? Earlier it was said that the Japanese name is Nippon, and Google shows that both can be used. Is there any difference between them, is Nihon the official name?

Sorry for the delay in responding, but the difference between Nippon and Nihon is that Nippon is more commonly associated with Japan by foreigners, whereas Nihon is more commonly used in my country which is Japan. I could add Nippon to the list if you want to :>>>

Thank you, but I think that it is not necessary. In the spirit of the quiz the hint is the name the people use of their own country, like I say Suomi here in Finland. Nihon is then the best hint.

PS. As many people, I knew Nihon, I have seen that before.
