How do they measure this? If Americans and Greeks, for example, think they're more stressed than Syrians and Venezuelans, that's a lot of self-pity.

The report creates several indexes, ranking countries by the percentage of people who answered ‘yes’ to a particular question (How did you feel yesterday? Did you feel physical pain? Experience enjoyment? Worry? Anger? What about stress?). The resulting data allowed them to rank and examine the most stressed countries in the world without economic indicators such as GDP being taken into account.
