Communist Leaders of Europe w/ Pictures

After the end of WWII in Soviet-occupied Europe communists started to take over (1946-1949). They remained in power until the end of the Cold War (1989-1991). We are looking for the dictators of this era, who were able to consolidate their power.
Here are a few tips to help you understand the causes of leadership changes:
Stalinism (~1946-1956); De-stalinisation, internal thaw (~1953-1964)
Détente, opening up (~1962-1979); Deterioration (~1979-1985); Perestroika (~1985-1991)
