Only Open Era titles (since 1968) are counted, so some players’ numbers may be lower without their pre-Open Era wins.

One player was born into a country that no longer exists, so her current nationalities are listed.

Henin is from Belgium. And Seles was born in Yugoslavia (modern day Serbia). Her parents are ethnic Hungarian but she only ever played for Yugoslavia or USA.

She currently has US and Hungarian citizenship, so I listed those two, but yes, she is from Yugoslavia.

Either the quiz is "the most Grand Slam titles in history" or it's "the most Grand Slam titles in the Open Era (since 1968)" - it can't be both.

If it is "in history" then Margaret Court (Aus) would be top of this list with 24.

By “history” I meant in the history of the modern era of tennis, or since 1968. I can see how that was a little unclear so I put Open Era in the caveats as it’s generally considered the starting point of the current world of tennis. But yes, in all history, Court would have the most.
