Uzbekistan/Kazakhstan, Ukraine, India, Turkmenistan, Albania and North Korea were easy, other than those there is nothing distinctive in the pictures. I could just as well take a picture of the pavement from our street and claim that people should learn where it's from.
EXACTLY! Some of these pictures could have been taken anywhere. It shows that man-made environmental damage and pollution can affect anywhere in the world, and we can all be the victims of it. Of course it's much worse in many countries than some others, but unless you know which ones have the very worst river pollution for example, you can at least feel as if you've learnt something and be grateful if you don't live in such conditions. And anyway, the two satellite images are pretty distinctive if you know your coastlines.
