Major Cities on Interstate 35
In this quiz, try to name 30 notable cities located along Interstate 35, which cuts north-south across the middle of the United States! The answers are shown in order from south to north, but you may answer in any order you like!
Interstate 35 is split into I-35 W and I-35 E at two different points, one in North Texas and the other in Minnesota. In these cases, list the major cities along BOTH divisions.

I would think to be called a major city, it needs to have at least 100,000 people....

Well, the criteria, according to me, is that either it has a large population, as y'all stated, or is a significant place along the highway. For example, the Texan city with 23,000 people---even though that's relatively small---has the intersection of I-35 with another interstate highway. Or take the small town in Kansas with 24,000 people. It's the place where a spur forms from I-35, which is significant to me.
