RULES
1) Each box contains a European country (country names and definition of Europe as from Countries of the World Quiz.
2) All countries begin with different initial letters.
3) The arrow indicates alphabetical order for the corresponding light blue column.
4) If a country is in the quiz, none of its bordering countries is present, but there is an exception: one country is in the quiz despite one or more bordering countries being present too.
5) If a country is in the quiz, then there is an adjacent cell to its right containing a country starting with the initial letter of its capital. If there isnt's such a country, or the initial letter of the capital is the same as that of the country itself, then there is not an adjacent cell to its right.
EXAMPLE OF RULE 5:
5a) If there is Italy (Rome) in a cell, there must be an adjacent cell to its right containing Romania or Russia.
5b) If there is Poland (Warsaw) in a cell, there is not a cell adjacent to its right, because there isn't a country beginning with W.
5c) If there is San Marino (San Marino) in a cell, again there is not a cell adjacent to its right.
NOTE: for a much easier version, consider that the country that is the exception to rule 5 is not in the UE. You may want to ignore this piece of information, which is not required.
