I knew 27 out of the 30 names in the list and I'm not really good in remembering names. I don't know these two, but that does not mean they have to be worse.

In fact, I think this is rather a list of the most famous frontmen than one of the best, although most of the list would stay the same, if it was.

To add a few names that would - in my opinion - also belong to the list:

When they say frontmen, I don't know if they are accounting for musical prowess or for putting up a good live performance, cause that might swing things around a bit.

Either way, two guys that I miss a lot on this list are Tom Araya and Chris Cornell

The most famous, maybe, but several of them are not even metal or hard rock (Iggy Pop, Kurt Cobain, Johnny Rotten, Joe Strummer...). Punk and hard rock are not the same at all, for goodness' sake.

Blue Öyster Cult and Rush are true hard rock bands, and Eric Bloom and Geddy Lee are exceptionnal frontmen.

That's cool that Till Lindemann is on here. Rammstein was my favorite band for a bit when I was younger, and his singing is a big part of what makes their sound so epic.

Any list that has Brian Johnson higher than Bon Scott is comically worthless. Nice quiz though.

Lots of guys missing from this list.

Eddie Vedder has to be here. Same with Chris Cornell and Dave Mustaine (I don't even like Megadeth!). Layne Staley too.

Ian Curtis definitely as well. Not sure if Joy Division count as hard rock/metal though. (The Clash, Queen and The Experience are here however)

I was genuinely surprised that Cornell and Staley didn't make this list, and Kurt Cobain did. (Not a knock on Cobain. But I always thought his truly singular talent was his songwriting. His vocals were fine but nothing special. He did have a certain navelgazing, negative charisma, though.) For my money, Mike Patton should be on here somewhere, too.

I think Chris Cornell is the best hard rock vocalist of them all, and I don't even like his bands all that much.

Boy, am I sick of Queen. I'd take Robert Plant over a dozen Freddie Mercurys any day of the week.
