Ultimate Countries of the World Quiz

Can you name all the countries of the world, both sovereign and non-sovereign. Non-sovereign includes Autonomous and semi-autonomous territories as well as disputed states. Given the somewhat objective interpretation of what constitutes a non-sovereign state, this quiz may not be 100% comprehensive. As a hint, the shaded answer blocks represent non-sovereign states.

nice idea! I wonder how 'correct' it is, why is Zanzibar there? Should St Helena be added?

Shouldn't "Puerto Rico" be in grey?

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it is easily up to interpretation when talking about the status of non-sovereign nations- autonomous, semi-autonomous, disputed, etc. No one's lists ever agree so I can't say it is 'correct.' Zanzibar was included because it does have its own government, is semi-autonomous, and there is at least some proportion of the population that think it should be independent. St. Helena is on there, though I wasn't sure where to group it geographically. It's also separated from Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, which is also maybe not correct.

And yes, Puerto Rico should be in gray. Thanks for catching that!
