Excellent quiz - hope it gets featured. I'd suggest considering different clues for a couple states, as follows. (Note that the following are also based on the "rules" on reddit.) Texas is a bit confusing, since it's only half of a two word 'idea' (Lone Star); the clue for New Mexico is also a two word idea "White Sands), plus it's kinda cheating, since the rules don't allow proper nouns; tower for Illinois is vague since there are several possible answers. Finally, you might consider making Michigan's clue "peninsulas" - I don't recall if plurals are allowed.

The correct spelling is "Independence", not "Independance"
