It rounds up

It doesn't round up and the percentages reset after every update.

That's why there's 100% on Mario's name. Can't say the same for the Inklings though...

depends on your definition of 'character' I suppose, but since you can race as the mii, I'd say it's entered the world enough to count.

Shouldn't Diddy Kong be accepted for Donkey Kong Jr.? He's the same character, after all. The only difference is what Nintendo called him. It's like if I changed my name from Zack to John. Sure, you can call me whatever, but I'm the same person.

Donkey Kong Jr. is basically today's Donkey Kong.

Actually, today's Donkey Kong is considered to be Donkey Kong III, because Cranky Kong is his grandfather, and he was the original Donkey Kong.

How can you get shy guy in DS?

If you play online with friends, you'll automatically play as a Shy Guy unless you're the host of the party, where you can just pick whoever you want.

Toadette was originally featured in Mario Kart Double Dash, so that Toad would have a racing partner.

The quiz says that it does not include the DLC, but the DLC characters are on the quiz. Also, I think you should reconsider the exclusion of the metal (and tanooki Mario and cat Peach) characters since they are apart of the main roster in the main Mario Kart games.
