One of the top-grossing Pixar movies and also one of the biggest box-office hits of 2007. Definitely worth seeing; I think Ratatouille more than any other Pixar movie can be enjoyed by adults (especially couples) as well as children. Although they all have wide appeal and are just generally the best cartoons ever.
I agree with mjkelly42. There was no war, just out-of-control waste that resulted in an uninhabitable environment. Oh, and a thinly-veiled shot at Wal-Mart.
The comments about WallE are right. and I was going to say something about the space ranger clue thinking that the answer was the woman from Wreck-It Ralph, and I was going to point out that this wasn't actually a Pixar movie.. but... dumb me.. I missed Buzz Lightyear. duh.
I'll go halfway with you and accept 'Mrs. Parr', since that would be her undercover name. Her professional name must stay 'Elastigirl' and not Mrs. Incredible, because....well, in the words of Mr. Incredible --- "I work alone".
Not as memorable a character as any of these others, which is probably why he's the least guessed answer. Could have put on Randall and I think the % would be higher. Or Mack. Or Edna. Or Joy, that's an easy one. Eve. Andy. Doug. Ellie. Alpha. Kevin. Charles Muntz. Merida. Russell. Emperor Zurg. Luigi. ...I think they would all be guessed more than Waternoose.
I've seen five of these movies with the grandkids, which explains why I only knew four of the characters, - Wall-E, Mater, Nemo, and Dory. (Couldn't remember the names from Up and Ratatouille, and blanked on Lightning McQueen.) I'm impressed with those of you who knew all of them.
Would agree with comments about accepting "Tow Mater" and changing the clue for Wall-E (not post-war). Also, I felt like Incredibles and Monsters, Inc., were overrepresented with 3-4 characters each, while there were at least 4 unrepresented movies. I would suggest adding characters from Inside Out (Riley?), The Good Dinosaur (Arlo?), Brave (Merida?), and Coco (Miguel? Ernesto de la Cruz?).
