Enter the name of any 4-year, bachelors-offering college in California with more than 1000 on-campus undergraduate students. List is in alphabetical order for the common names I used.
All statistics according to https://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/ as of the start of the Fall 2021 semester
Do not use acronyms, even very commonly used ones like "NYU."
Common names are accepted if they aren't acronyms. "University of" etc is generally not needed. "A&M" & "St" are acceptable shorthand. For this particular quiz, "Cal" is acceptable shorthand for "California".
Typing Cal (campus name here) will work for the UCs
Please make this so common abbreviations (UCLA, UCSD, USC, etc,,,) are accepted. Having to type University of California...is laborious and time consuming.
Typing "Cal" instead of "University of California" would've worked. I don't really feel like going through every single college in the US and trying to figure out which ones are commonly known by their acronyms and dealing with all the overlap there would be, so I decided not to use them at all.
You really should… because this is a good quiz, it’s just that nobody is going to take this if you don’t include at least some more shorthand and abbreviations. There’s no reason not to accept “Northridge”, for example.
