The Northeast 111

List the Northeast 111, a popular hiking list of all the 4,000 foot mountains in the Northeastern US
Sourced from Wikipedia's New England 4000 footer list and the Adirondack 46ers list
Elevations are taken straight from those wikipedia lists. Meter elevations may not match foot elevations as they appear to come from different sources. This list is sorted by foot elevations.
To be part of the Northeast 111, a mountain must in theory be above 4,000 feet in elevation, and have at least 200 feet of clean prominence.
5 mountains previously considered to be above 4,000 feet are grandfathered into the list, while 4 have been added in the last few decades as a result of improved measurements. As a result, there are 110 mountains above 4,000 feet, and 115 counted towards the "Northeast 111"

Some numbers:

48/49 of them are in the White Mountains of NH and Maine, depending on if you consider Old Speck to be in the Whites.

Of those, all but Old Speck fall into NH, with Old Speck in the Mahoosuc Range in Maine. The Mahoosucs are sometimes classified as a separate range from the White Mountains as a whole.

46 are in the Adirondack High Peaks of New York

2 are in the Catskill Mountains of New York

5 are in the Green Mountains of Vermont

10 are in the Carrabassett Valley region of Maine

3 are in Baxter State Park, Maine

Of the 5,000 footers, 5 are in the Presidential Range of the Whites, 2 on Franconia Ridge in the Whites, 1 in Baxter State Park, and 2 in the Adirondacks

Tecumseh was found to be below 4,000 feet as of 2019. It previously was 4,003 feet, and still is on some lists.

The last 4 mountains on this list are not the next 4 highest mountains. I count 17 mountains between 3,997 feet and 3,820 feet in New England, and somewhere around 10-15 in the Adirondacks

I only got 20 and I've actually hiked 3 of the mountains I missed and skied 2. Tough list.
