Been up where? There are a lot of features named after Kearsarge. Off the top of my head, there is Kearsarge Pass in California and two different Mount Kearsarge's in New Hampshire, in addition to at least a half dozen roads, and a school district around Kearsarge South. My username is a reference to Mount Kearsarge (South) in NH, as I grew up in that area.
I believe that the pass in California, and Kearsarge North were both named after Kearsarge South, which was the original " Mount Kearsarge"
Also you have a great user name! I've been up there many times.
