And that is wrong that Mormons aren't intelligent or sane. I know many Mormons you are quite excelled in education and knowledge, so that is quite rude
Mormonism is an appropriate name, though really they ought to be called Smithians. Calling the religion Mormonism assumes that the prophet Mormon was a real person and that Joseph Smith really did find golden plates. In the same way it is more accurate to call Muslims Mohametans, as Westerners did for hundreds of years up until pretty recently. Though they prefer to be called Muslisms, the title is actually less accurate and less descriptive. TCoJCoLDS is not just a horrible mouthful, but also falls into this category of being less descriptive and useful, even if the church members themselves would prefer it.
Yes, you ought to clarify the last question. Perhaps something along the line of "What controversial practice, once advocated by the prophet, has since been banned in the mainstream Mormon church?"
Technically, Moroni is not on top of every Mormon temple (e.g., Mesa, Laie, St. George, Manti, Logan). Perhaps using the word "most" instead of "every."
Joseph Smith was a real mormon. Are you referring to the fact that he had practiced polygamy? Because if so, he had a reason for polygamy. At the time, men were being killed by persecutors and died, well, a lot. So Joseph Smith got revelation from God to allow polygamy, not because they wanted to do something crazy, but because by men marrying more than one woman these men can provide and help women who had lost their husbands.
Let's clarify all of this 1) Joseph Smith restored the gospel on the Earth, he did not "create" it. 2) We do prefer the title The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If not that, we prefer LDS, not Mormon. 3) It is Mormonism because Mormon was one of the people to write in our book, The Book of Mormon. 4) On that note, The Book of Mormon is just another testament of Jesus Christ, like the bible. Don't worry, we read that often too. 5) Many LDS people are very intelligent and quite sane. 6) There are members all around the world, making it a mixed race religion. &) Yes we are Christians, we believe in Jesus Christ.
Thank you for listening to my information about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I also appreciate those who stood up for my religion. I cannot thank you enough.
