Quite a few towns here still haven't recovered their pre-WWII populations, e.g. Berlin still comes about a little under 600,000 short according to a 2022 estimate of 3,755,251.

Plauen was hit the hardest by this population loss. Sitting at 64,763 according to a 2022 estimate, a loss of 40% compared to its pre-war population.

Alright, figured it out and fixed it. Map was accidentally set to have a very small amount of blurring, but this caused issues specifically for mobile users.

Interesting to see how the big cities where almost equally distributed (except Ruhr Area) and today you see all the big cities in the West and South. Plauen, Görlitz and Dessau are so small no one would know them if they werent the biggest cities among small villages
