Apparently the oldest profession is not as popular there as the common image would imply. They probably don't do as much ganja, as people would think, either.
This info was from 2018, considering pros per 100k inhabitants per city (and it seems the link no longer leads to the stats once available).
I made a quick search and with 2019 info, Thailand as a country seems to have "45 sex workers per 10,000 people" while countries that have more include Germany, Malaysia, Brazil, China (~5% of GDP), Nigeria, Philippines... Top 3 being Peru: 102 prostitutes per 10,000 people, South Korea: 110 prostitutes per 10,000 people & Venezuela: 119 prostitutes per 10,000 people.
In sheer amount, the order is China, India, USA.
