Geography Tri-Chain

Each answer connects to the next one. One of the following three, chosen at random, links one answer to the next. The possible links are: 1 - the next answer has the same first and last letter; 2 - The next answer rhymes; OR 3 - The next answer is an anagram.
Rhyming requires words to sound similar on and after the stressed syllable.
The chain links don't repeat. I.e., you won't rhyme, then rhyme again.

Thanks! This was… very difficult to make work but I’m happy that I only had to resort to somewhat obscure answers a couple times.

Great job, very creative! I'd like to make a few nitpicks:

It should say "Former name of South Korea's 2nd largest city", as 2nd could be seen as age-wise. Also, for "The southern end of South America", I was thinking Tierra del Fuego (or Cape Horn). Maybe add 'continental'?

Thanks. A country's "second city" is usually its second largest but is usually also its second most important culturally or financially. For instance, Kharkiv is often described as Ukraine's second city, and France's second city is Marseille. In South Korea's case, there is a clear choice for its second city and this city is referred to as such pretty commonly. As for the South America one, I think having a few possible answers is fine since it's a chain question. I'll think about it and maybe add more if I can figure out a concise wording.
