Mergeography

Type out the strange word that is formed by merging two answers. The "Before" hint's last several letters will be shared with the "After" hint's first several letters. For instance, "Country north of Nigeria" and "Europe's largest economy" would give Nigermany. If you want to fill in just “Niger”, write Niger x. Try to do just the merged answers if you can, though.
All the answers will feature at least three shared letters.
Saying the answers out loud will maximize your fun.
The merged answer automatically fills in all associated answers.
Important: to fill in JUST the before answer, add an X after it!

I think this quiz would be better if you could answer the separate hints and combine them as another answer, for a total of 3 answers per set.

You might be right. It is probably a bit too hard right now, but I worried giving the before answer then the after answer then the merge answer would add a bunch of extra typing. Maybe I'll edit this down to remove the hardest answers and then add the answer slots for the before and after parts.

I would actually prefer having just the merged answers. Having both the merged and the individual answers is too much typing, and just the individuals is too easy - and defeats the purpose of the quiz.

I agree there should be only one answer. I typed out the merged answers without the first letter and then added it, so I wouldn't have to type the first part twice every time.

I changed up the quiz a little… hopefully this is a good compromise that reduces typing but also allows players who need hints to work things out.

I really liked yours! Its layout looks great and it’s hard enough to take some thinking but not so hard that it’s frustrating. Anyone who likes this quiz will surely like your quiz too. :)

Does Sierra Leone work also for the Ebola clue? Did they also get Ebola at that time?

I believe that Sierra Leone and at least one other country were affected by the Ebola outbreak, but Sierra Leone doesn’t fit with the other answer to make the merged answer. The last several letters have to fit with the first several letters of the “after” answer.
