I had to sing "Don't Stand So Close to Me" to get Nabokov, and I had to mentally replay the Monty Python "Summarize Proust" sketch to get him.

I'm glad that you included Nietzsche, but "God is Dead" is not a work, and he's the only author that you include a title that isn't a work. Could you replace that with "The Birth of Tragedy," "Beyond Good and Evil," or "Ecce Homo" perhaps?
