Stretching it a bit to say that Denmark or UK border the Arctic. And the Faroes are in the Norwegian Sea.

Well kind of, but I'd say the UK does border the arctic ocean (Scotland is very far north):and Denmark is there because of Greenland mostly, as for the Faroes, ill fix that real quick

How is the arctic circle the most northerly circle of latitude? Even the circle at 89 degrees north wouldn't qualify for that.

Also, the guy you give as the first to the North Pole is not the one who is generally accepted. Though I do concede that Peary's claim is not cast iron.
