Glad you like it :) Interesting, I wasn't sure how easy or hard it would be for French people. Though I'm sure I'd find some tricky on a British version. Trying to work out if I can make one with the UK's awkward shape. Thank you France for fitting nicely into a square!

Oof. Bordeaux is just evil. I knew it was on the Garonne river, but unfortunately thought it was more in the Gironde estuary rather than being as far upriver as it turns out to be. So given where the Gironde is clearly visible in the "9 o'clock" square, I thought clicking there would be an easy gimme.

Had a bit of a nasty surprise when it flashed red at me... 😲

Good quiz, but man are some of these close to the lines. I knew basically where Lyon, Bordeaux and Strasbourg were but picked the wrong square for each. Especially Lyon and Strasbourg had no idea they were so far west and north respectively!

Yeah, some are tricky though not trying to make it hard, actually the opposite. It’s just not easy to cut a country into even squares and have all the cities away from the lines. Half the time if you get a few in a good place other ones are cut in half.
