A double-letter word is one that contains consecutive letters that are the same, such as rabbit, deer or kitten. For each letter of the alphabet, which are the most common words that contain double letters?
I think these word frequency quizzes must have a British English (as opposed to American English) bias. "Rubber" has 5 times as many Google hits as "rubbish" (and 5 times the frequency in the Google n-gram viewer).
it'd be nice to have a 'mastermind' version (don't think it's possible!) where at least you're told if you're getting any close. nice idea! just out of curiosity, how come you didn't use things like {s}EE?
