Because of this quiz, I've found some books I'd like to read. I've already read George MacDonald, The Wind in the Willows, and lots of Stevenson. I'd like to read Lanark, especially!

That's funny, I only missed Grahame and MacDonald - need to catch up. Go for "Lanark", you're in for a treat.

One could also add the brilliant James Kelman. "How late it was, How late" won a highly controversial Booker Prize and can be considered his most famous work, though "A disaffection" would probably be my favourite of his.

Great idea for a quiz regardless. Nominated!
