No. Vatican city is not visible, nor is Monaco. Andorra, Liechtenstein, Singapore, and Malta are all visible too. Maybe you're confused?

There is a visible dot for San Marino, but not for the Vatican on my screen. Also missing: monaco, maldives, mauritius, seychelles, and half of the Pacific island nations (Palau, Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Kiribati, etc.)

I don't know if it was a problem with my computer but after I zoomed in and zoomed back out the entire map was no longer showing. I lost the entire top. Is there a some special way to adjust that properly?

This is a bad answer. If users have to zoom in, it's really not a country that should be included.

Perhaps a "Fiendish Word Map Without 12 Countries" is in order where countries like East Timor, San Marino, or St Kitts and Nevis are answers.

What's also interesting is that these are all island or coastal countries. Landlocked countries could simply lose their boarders as though they were part of a neighboring country.

Mauritius and some other islands seem to be missing as well, hard to know what's just too small to show on the map (Mauritius, I assume) and what's a missing country (Cyprus)

I believe that's because the original shapefile has some country shapes that aren't done in an exact way since they are hidden by other countries anyway (eg Nepal if I remember correctly) so when you remove the 'covering' country this becomes evident!

Simultaneously fantastic and embarrassing. Notice South Korea, correctly guessed without zooming that either Malta or Cyprus would be missing, someone missed New Zealand, Chile and the fact that Greenland wasn't there.

I love this quiz because I've never stared so long at a blank space, convinced there is supposed to be a country there, but cannot work out what it is. Then I finish the quiz and realise that I'm going insane because there's never been a country there. Like some kind of Mandela Effect.

Would be nice if the quiz stated that none of the missing countries is smaller than (a given area), so people won't try to look for some small islands. Like Maldives, I'm pretty sure that Maldives aren't there. 12/12 with 1:30 left, by the way :)
