I absolutely loved this quiz. Never has jetpunk made me giggle so much. I found myself pronouncing the films in a bad South African accent. Great concept and execution, I hope to see more of these! Thanks again for your continued inventiveness! Neil :)

So that's what the accent was that my brain came up with...

Hammer day yes was probably the hardest one, though I probably spent more time trying 'end chill' to be angel.

I got "chicken egg shin", but couldn't quite make the connection to a film.

I agree; this is a great quiz. I eventually got "Summer lie kit tot," although it is a bit misleading. Would "Sum lie kit tot" be too easy?

I could change it, but the idea is that the 'mer' syllable kind of disappears when the whole clue is spoken faster and faster. A couple of other clues have a similar 'extra' syllable that also all but vanishes at high speed. :)

It probably depends on one's accent. In my mid-south USA accent that odd syllable remains even when spoken very fast. "Some ur like it hot." I tried saying everything in a British accent and it became easier.

Great quiz! Note to self: don't do this quiz in public, as repeated frowned mutterings may get you strange looks.

I got only half of them, but I'm not english native. I think this shows particularly in this quiz, since you have to perfectly pronounce the words in order to obtain an acceptable weird pronounciation. Great quiz though :)

I think especially sieve is difficult when you arent english, and I guess die aswell, I often saw it as "thee"' and not "dye"

This is one of the most creative and entertaining quizzes I have taken in a while! I'm glad no one was around to see me take it, I probably looked crazy as hell muttering weird phrases at my computer over and over. Well done @kiwirage! I would love to see more like this!

Another great one! Please make more, these are so fun. I find that the film titles that start with articles are so much tougher. Any chance you can accept some 'pity' spellings for "Labyrinth"?

Maybe it's because I'm not a native speaker, but I found the quiz quite ridiculous. Too many silent Hs etc..

I am not either, but I only missed two, dial m ( which I dont know) and lawrence of arabia. And I think the clue for that one might be off a bit, anyway, even after seeing the answer I find it the worst of the bunch. Maybe if something followed beer. Like "beer yeah" so you get the -ia sound. Maybe then I would find it better. or "bee yeah", works better. (Low rinds off a ray bee yeah)

As for silent H, I assume you mean amadeus and gladiator? When saying the hammer one slow it doesnt sound close, but when saying it fast it suddenly appears, I actually really enjoyed that one, felt like magic haha. And with gladiator (which felt like the easiest of all) I couldnt help but laugh a little.

I like quizzes like this, though not advisable with throat infection :( eventhough I only whispered them, my throat hurt so much afterwards. Can you get muscle ache in your throat by the way? haha, cause I feel like you can now haha. The repetition and for me pronunciations I am not used to, make this sort of the equivalent of getting your tongue into a knot haha. (But I guess the whispering made that worse)
