Palestine - Israel conflict

+1

The country of Palestine, only recognized by its Arab friends, is in conflict with Israel. The reason why is because Israel didn't exist back then. If we go back in history, Israel was ruled by Palestine, but soon later; Israel became independent. So, that got the Arab countries to help Palestine, and... that failed. Palestine is still in conflict with Israel, but NATO is helping Israel. So, who would you help? And why? Well, I'd support Israel.

Wrong. Palestine (which includes Isreal plus Gaza Strip plus West Bank minus Golan Heights) was colonized by the UK after WWI. After that, the Balfour Declaration (I can't remember which year) made it clear that the UK wanted a Jewish state. That happened after WWII. Shortly after, Palestine and its neighbors invaded Israel, which failed. Territory went back and forth, but now, Palestine has "control" of it's claimed area. And btw China and Russia also recognize Palestine.
