🇪🇸LARGEST CITIES IN SPAIN🇪🇸

Brought to you by MrBLOGGER

#10 - Zaragoza

Zaragoza, also known as Saragossa, is a bustling city in the community of Aragon. Its most famous tourist attraction is the Catholic basilica, or ¨our lady of pillar¨.

#9 - Las Palmas

Las Palmas is a very cool and tropical city. It is located in the Canary Islands - very far off from mainland Spain.  It has BIG levels of tourism.

#8 - Alicante-Elche

Alicante-Elche is the merging of the two cities, rounding up a little less then a million people. You might feel like your in California when your visiting this city! It also has big ports.

#7 - Oviedo–Gijón–Avilés

Oviedo–Gijón–Avilés is actually the merging of the 3 cities, as they are located in the same area. They are very close to Portugal, in Northeast Spain.

#6 - Málaga

Malaga is a chill, nice, and very old city. It has been around for over 3,000 years, making it the oldest city in Spain. Like Seville and Barcelona, it is on the Mediterranean coast and it's very warm.

#5 - Bilbao

Bilbao is the largest city in the heavily - autonomous Basque country located in NW Spain. There are more people around Bilbao than in it though. Bilbao is famous for its Guggenheim museum (not the one in NY), home to plenty of art!

#4 - Seville

Seville is mostly an old city...but still unique. It is located in the Andalusia region and has been around for almost over a century. It has 3 UNESCO heritage sites. But if you are visiting them...be careful - Seville is a very hot city!

#3 - Valencia

Valencia is another powerhouse city in Spain. Located in the region of Valencia, is a nice and modern city on the Mediterranean sea. It is known for its port of El Grao, which supplies 20% of the countries entire exports!

#2 - Barcelona

Barcelona is a huge powerhouse - so much, that they could compete with Madrid. They have everything needed for a booming city - tourism, Olympic games, attractions, churches, resources, etc. It has a high level of autonomy and is located in the Catalan region.

#1 - Madrid

Madrid, no surprise, is the capital and largest city of Spain. It is a bustling city, with skyscrapers and you could say the heart of Spain. It is located right in the middle and is not part of an autonomous group. It is one of the largest cities in Europe. It is also known for its football team - Real Madrid.

Thanks so much for reading this blog!

There definitely aren't as many vegetarian options, but you could scrape by eating lots of potatoes (you've got to try some tortilla de patata/tortilla española). Unless you don't eat eggs either...

Nice blog!

If it is possible, and you are up to it, I would love to collaborate on a blog. If it could be based in politics (presented in a neutral way), I would be interested in doing something.

Again, nice blog! I liked the pictures!
