It plays an important role in Russia's daily life - whether its the modern buildings, Kremlin, political sites, historical sites, or just anything worth seeing. Back during the time of the Middle Ages, Moscow was a huge city of trade - often trading with anyone around them. It became the capital of Russia in 1991, after the USSR split. The leader of Russia, as well as many other important people, live in the city. It is a very lively city and definitely worth going - just make sure you don't run in to the gaurds!
