You know what there's a lot of on this site? Geography quizzes. Lots and lots of geography quizzes. And as much as I complain about the imbalance, I found it fun to learn something new that would have never even thought of being interested in before. I think it would be fun for that to happen again for the masses in the style of a 1v1 style tournament.
The King for a Day Tournament is not my own idea (actually created by SiIvaGunner) but the concept is still the same. Some number of contestants, real or fictional, compete in a tournament, each representing their unique variety of sources relating to them. An example could be Mickey Mouse, and his source list could be quizzes about Disney, franchises created by Disney and other companies Disney owns. People would make quizzes related to these subjects and then vote for whoever interests them more. Eventually only one contestant remains and is named the "King for a Day" and will have a day of quizzes dedicated to them. The original tournament was to see who gets a day of music based on their sources, but if KFAD were to happen on Jetpunk then obviously it would be a day of quizzes based on their sources.
This tournament could be fun for a lot of people. We all tend to stay within our own comfort zone of knowledge on Jetpunk and having an event like this could get people to branch out more. I wanted to post this before actually starting the tournament because I wanted to see if people would actually be interested in an event like this. Especially considering that I alone can’t provide enough quizzes to really make a contestant “King for a Day” so I would need others to provide support by creating quizzes throughout the tourney and for the King’s special day.
If you are interested than leave a contestant idea down below, along with 2-4 examples of quiz sources they might have or just leave a supportive comment. Whatever works for you, but I would prefer the former. I will pick any ideas I find cool, or whatever ideas get the most likes. And if nobody's interested then I'll just scrap this.

If we wanted, we could just do a daily tournament starting today, and daily write a blog post about it to raise awareness. One downside is that there wouldn't be really any way to prevent cheating, but that is how it is sometimes.
