I really don’t understand the Electoral College thing... wasn’t it democracy? Lol. But seriously, I don’t understand it. The vote could just be equal.

Back when the country was created, most of the population knew almost nothing about current events and politics because there wasn’t social media. The Electoral College was a way to make it so only educated individuals voted on the presidency. However, in the age of social media, it has become significantly less practical.
