War of the States #4: Trouble on the Atlantic

The following story is fiction and not based on real events. I apologize in advance if this offends anyone.
This story takes place in 2021. COVID-19 doesn't exist. Every state is independent and the U.S. government doesn't exist. Each state is it's own country.
Texas: My empire needs more area. Louisiana wasn't enough.
SAAT: I wouldn't.
Texas: Like y'all could stop me.
New Mexico: SAAT is strong enough to repel any Texan attack.
Texas: Oklahoma, I'll take 20,000 square miles please.
Oklahoma: Ha! No way!
Texas: We can do this the easy way or the hard way.
Oklahoma: Hard was it is.
Texas declares war on Oklahoma. SAAT declares was on Texas.
Texas begins invading Oklahoma and heading for it's capital Tulsa, and the rest of SAAT begin bombing El Paso, San Antonio and Dallas. Texas responds by bombing Birmingham, Tulsa and Albuquerque. SAAT proposes a truce. It is rejected. Texas begins attack Arkansas, but it repelled by an air attack. SAAT proposes another truce. It is excepted.
Borders don't change and SAAT pays Texas $50,000,000.00.

Florida: Richmond Agreement, I've got a proposition for you.
New Carolina: We're listening.
Georgia: What is it?
Florida: We shall control the Atlantic.
Virginia: Okay. And how will we accomplish that.
Georgia: War on the Philadelphia Pact?
New Carolina: Okay.
The Richmond Agreement declares war on the Philadelphia Pact.
The Richmond Agreement begins mobilizing it's naval forces and begins landings on the New Jersey coast, Delaware and Baltimore. The Philadelphia Pact responds by bombing naval bases in Wilmington, Charleston and Miami. The Richmond Agreement threatens to bomb New York City unless Maryland is handed over to Virginia. The Philadelphia Pact rejects the proposal and NYC is bombed, killing thousands of civilians. Orlando is then piratically destroyed by the New Jersey Air Force. Several air force bases are bombed by both sides. New Carolina then bombs Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Pact accepts the Richmond Agreement's deal.
Maryland is handed over to Virginia. All other borders aren't changed.

Philadelphia: Man, we really got screwed with the deal.
New York: No kidding, we need to make up for lost land.
Adams: This better not mean what I think it means.
New Jersey: Don't worry, it's not.
Adams: Good!
Michigan: I shall rule the Great Lakes.
Michigan declare war on Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota.
Michigan swiftly begins ground invasions of each state's land that borders the Great Lakes. It successfully takes them all over, with the exception of Chicago. Michigan then proposes a truce. It is rejected. Illinois bombs Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor and Lansing. Michigan is invaded by each state in declared war on. After 2 months, Michigan is no more.
After negotiations, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin all fuse and form the Great Lake Republic

New York: You're safe for now. Maybe we should focus on Adams.

The Philadelphia Pact declares war on Adams.
