2045 Blog

Intro

Kilwa has recently started releasing 2052 blogs, which are quite entertaining.

This prompted me to think about the release of my alternative future, which has been cherished since 2020.

But for now I'm just thinking about laying out the full plot, for several reasons:

1. The blog is very driven by realism, it often focuses on UN resolutions, figures, statistics, economics, politics (I have a bunch of documents, maps and tables on it, but they should not be laid out exactly), so it may be boring for many people.

2. Unlike many alternative plots, it does not have zombies, fiction, imperialists who want to take over the world. The world map has not changed (only 6 countries have been added!). Moreover, almost all countries have not even changed their flags.

3. Now I am discussing with Kilwa the prospects of our plots, so something may change

4. If there are 2 blogs about the future in JetPunk, users will simply get confused.

But, just in case, I will give an assessment of one of the first events (I will skip the first one for now) so that you can roughly understand what will come out.

May, 2025.

On May 21, unexpectedly for everyone, Chinese leader Xi Jinping announced an emergency congress of the Communist Party of China on May 27.

The media, as usual, created a stir, saying that Xi "will give rise to the worst nightmare of the West". But until May 27, no one could say for sure.

The congress was held on the appointed day.

Xi Jinping began his speech.

The speech was rather unremarkable and did not announce any radical changes, but at the 19th minute of the speech, impossible words sounded:

"— I believe that I have coped with my duty to my homeland, to my people. I don't have the energy that I had 12 years ago, and therefore my best decision would be to retire. I hope the new generation will continue the work of our party."

After that, Xi Jinping left the meeting.

After that, the Prime Minister announced the transfer of power to a new, Sixth generation.

At 22:00 Chinese time, power was transferred to a body called the Council of the New Decision with Diao Quanbu in head.

One of the members were Ma Huateng and Wang Xing.

The world was shocked by Xi's resignation. a little over a year ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin left, and now another major leader is leaving.

The United States reacted to this with great joy: "We are glad for the dictator's next departure. I hope this will help the people of China to come to true democracy."

The Council almost immediately announced a change of course to create a new, strong China and support mutual partnership with the United States, Britain, Russia and other countries.

"— We must create a new China, the basis of which is the well—being of citizens."

May 5, 2025 — A law was issued on raising the minimum wage in China in foreign companies to $ 600. Most foreign companies were dissatisfied with this state of affairs, and decided to boycott it, which did not lead to results. Then the companies announced the beginning of the transfer of their factories from China.

September 1, 2025 — the Council threatened that this would be fraught with consequences, and introduced the law "On Foreign Companies", one of the requirements of which was a ban on the closure and transfer of enterprises from China. Thanks to cunning schemes, foreign companies managed to close enterprises in China, for example, massive "bankruptcies" of foreign enterprises and their sale to subsidiaries with a residence permit in China that close this enterprises. But still 55% of companies decided to leave their enterprises.

November 14, 2025 — Meanwhile, the West has decided to "partially lift" sanctions against Russia by lifting more than 6,000 different sanctions. The Russian Foreign Ministry was "very pleased" with this step, and stated that "by such actions Russia and Western countries will be able to fully normalize relations".

Jan, 2026.

On January 3, at the ASEAN summit, Vietnam offered to finally settle the dispute over the Spartly Islands. All ASEAN countries supported this decision, and they decided to arrange negotiations about the islands on January 16.

January 16, 2026— Representatives of the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia met in Cam Ranh to discuss the issue of the Spartly Islands. The negotiations could have reached an impasse if it were not for the diplomatic art of the representatives of Vietnam

" — The ability to convince other parties, forget about their goals and present their benefits as benefits for the other side — The Vietnamese simply amaze and frighten with their diplomatic magic. If our representatives were sitting at the negotiating table now, we would have give all our land and thought that we had received the maximum benefit," — so, according to rumors, the representative of Singapore spoke to the representative of India.

The sides of partition. Which country isn't invited?...

March 27, 2026 — China stated that "no matter how the United States and Russia try to ignore China's opinion, they will have to reckon with it, otherwise it will cost them a lot."

On the same day, China announced "the beginning of a war that will force the United States and Russia to accept China's opinions"

at 00:00, China landed on the island of Thitu, which had departed to the Philippines. Later, he began bombing airfields on the Spartly Islands. Vietnam and the Philippines launched a joint counterattack, and Malaysia joined them at 2:00. At 11:31, India sent 16 ships and attacked the main Chinese base Johnston South. By May 29, China held the defense only on West York Island.

June 30, 2026 — An emergency meeting of the UN was held, a resolution of the UN General Assembly was prepared demanding the withdrawal of troops from Spartley, otherwise the UN will begin intervention and isolation of China. As a result of the resolution, 191 countries were in favor, North Korea abstained, and China was against.

China, which was already entering a crisis, did not have the means to continue the war, so by March 31, all troops were withdrawn, and China recognized the treaty on the partition of the Spartly Islands...

Conclusion

This is the "pilot" of my alternative future. I am interested to know your opinion, including constructive criticism about this. Do you think it's worth continuing or putting off the blog for now?
