Have you ever wondered....
Once I watched a video of the Nomadic Atmosphere channel — a walk through the snow-covered Central Park. Deciding to look into the comments section, I came across this:
And so, it would seem, some small comment plunged me into thought. And really, it's amazing how such things that most of us only enjoy from pictures or are cherished dreams, like a walk through Central Park, an evening in Times Square or a snack in a Manhattan cafe are just a reality for other people?
But I'll say it cornyly, we live in the age of digital technology, when a person from Outback can contact a person from Costa Rica in seconds, learn about someone else's culture and everyday life. But no matter how much we laugh, it may be a dream for someone to spend the night in a tropical village in the Philippines, or vice versa, to see the skyscrapers of Vancouver. So why don't we fulfill other people's dreams — open up the lives of others to them, show our homeland from the inside?....
And this is a Wonder of Wander project!
That's what Wonder of Wander was created for! Yes, the idea is far from the newest, on the contrary, more than one site has been created for this — but how to exhaust it?
So, we've figured out the idea, but what's the point? It's pretty simple — those who want to write a blog about the place where they live. Don't take countries, subdivisions — the main value is exactly what you tell about your native, small place. It can be a neighborhood, a street, a park, a cafe, the center or outskirts of a city, its most famous landmark or an unknown, non-residential place. I'll tell you how now.1. If someone has a desire to participate, they will have to write about it under one of the blogs, or personally to me — from the moment they express their desire, they already have every right to participate.
2. Try to get in touch later — tell me what you will write about and, if desired, discuss it with me
3. You can start creating a blog — you have the freedom to write it! You can arrange a walk to your favorite places, tell us about the place where you like to spend your day off. Yes, even the hospital you go to or the school you study at — everything will do! However, at the same time, you need to keep the main goal — to reveal your realities, perhaps ordinary for you, but amazing for others. You definitely need photos, if possible taken by you!
4. After finishing your blog, you can do one of two things:
a) Provide me with the material, then it will be included in the WoW blog cycle (I will tell you the details later, but I will warn you — I have no right to publish your material on my behalf)
b) Release it yourself, but then you need to put a mark that it is within the scope of this project (otherwise how will I guess that this is so?:).
Please lean towards a, just so as not to violate the systematics, but I do not condemn b either.
5. Your material will be published as part of this project!
Notice that
Now I want to talk about your and my rights:
1.You can keep the authorship anonymous. in that case, I won't write your user nickname. However, I have no right to publish your blog without specifying your name at my request.
2.Just because you disclose the places you live in doesn't mean you have to disclose your personal life. You can open up the world to others without telling them about your name, marriage, or anything else. You don't even have to specify your personal opinion — everything is solely at your request.
3. I have no right to publish your material on my behalf. This is your work, and to publish it on my behalf would be pure theft.
4. I have the right to edit your material only after discussion with you and with your consent.
5. Work within the framework of JetPunk, avoid topics of violence, shocking topics and other only adults, highly social topics (does it make sense to talk about this rule?)
And most importantly, remember that every moment can be interesting. The capital's megacities, the rural wilderness, a walk along Trafalgar Square, an evening on the shores of Michigan, shopping at the supermarket in Chennai, a walk in the city park in Gniezno, and a hike to a distant stream in the mountains of Columbia, or a local eatery on the outskirts of Dubai are valuable. We appreciate the full range of this diverse life!
Thanks for Reading!
I don't know if only a few or dozens of people will respond to this, but I will be glad for every good you write, with which you will open up an unknown world for others. After all, sometimes it looks like an absolutely identical life has so many amazing differences!
Can you take photos to the blog?
Note : I will not be sharing photos of myself in these places
