A Blog about Military Equipment

Disclaimer

Please correct me if any of this info is wrong. This all came from Wikipedia. So... yeah.

This Blog.

I made this blog because I've always been fascinated with military history and equipment.

And I don't know if any of you are interested in it too, so... yeah. Read up.

Inspiration

Sniper Elite 5

There is this one game I play on the Xbox called Sniper Elite 5. This game, along with the other games in the Sniper Elite series, have been made by Rebellion Developments, a British company, and this series is one of their most popular.

I'll probably dive into it in a separate blog since I feel the urgent yet totally useless need to explain said game and all its features.

World Conqueror 4

This is a mobile game that I play that you probably do not play. It's a turn based strategy game in which you can conquer the world if you so wish.

There are a few modes, including but not limited to the conquest mode (where you conquer the world), campaign mode (where you command troops in a terrible reconstruction of historical battles, not all having actually happened) and domination (where you just do things to gain resources and whatnot).

It has this new mechanic that had just been recently added about 3 or so months ago called "elite forces" with equipment like the IS-3 heavy tank (the thumbnail of the blog), the King Tiger and the Stuka.

The Actual Blog

Sjögren Inertia Shotgun

The Sjögren (which I will spell Sjogren for simplicity purposes) inertia shotgun is a 12-gauge semi-auto shotgun that has the unique property of being driven by inertia. Approximately 5,000 were built and not much is known about them.

IS-3 Heavy Tank

The IS-3 heavy tank is a Soviet heavy tank that was also known as Object 703. It had a turret shape that as you can see resembles a soup bowl standing on its top. It was unable to see combat in WW2 and thus participated in the Berlin Victory Parade of 1945.

Ju-87 Stuka

The Ju-87 Stuka is a dive bomber that was first used in 1935 and retired in 1945. It is easily recognizable by its gun wings and its fixed landing gear. It's also recognizable by its sirens known as "Jericho trumpets" which only activate when the plane dives.

I'm too lazy to end this properly so bye bye.

Ugh I can finally get this idea off my mind.

I have played world conqueror. It's a fun game. In every military game, the weapon I like most is MRLS

I don't know why, but I have a vague feeling you're one of the people that post classified military documents on War Thunder Forums

But good blog :)
