Nice facts, but you have improperly used the word sparse. In fact, Brazil is quite the opposite. Most of it's cities are clumped around Sao Paulo and the Southwest. There are only a couple sparse large cities in Brazil. Clumped is a better word.

Yeah, after read again, is correct. The population is clumped in coastline, the south and the center.

Then, you should remove the thing that’s saying “because of the forests”. In fact, the forests cover just the west side of Brazil, as our history started in the coast, the cities started of appear and be created next to the sea, in addition to other motives. That’s why the Atlantic Forest is disappearing. In these days, the cities are also clumped in the South-Center, because of the best HDI, GDP, opportunities for job, for life, education, health, etc.

So, you should change the explanation :)
