+2

Previous Winner and Answer

Shoutout to FreeStater and FumChum for guessing Mystery Country 2, which was Fiji, and also to Itzlngenious for guessing Mystery Country 3, which was Bolivia. And congrats to Maxibon for guessing Mystery President 2, Benjamin Harrison.

Mystery Country

A country has been selected by me. You have to guess it based on these four clues. Welcome back to the fourth installment in this series!

Clues

Three of these clues are true. One is not.

1. The majority of people in this country practice Christianity.

2. This country has hosted an international sports event.

3. No ethnic group makes up more than 50% of this country's population, according to Wikpedia.

4. This country is in the bottom half of global rankings for both population and area.

Instructions and Rules

Guess this country by the clues. As always, you may not use an AI tool, such as ChatGPT, to assist you. Only one guess is allowed per user. The first user to guess the country wins. The information is sourced from Wikipedia. A later blog will spotlight the winner.

Scoreboard

This is a scoreboard of how many countries and presidents each user has guessed correctly. This includes the winners of all of my challenges and competitions.

It looks like nobody figured it out. This is over a week old, so I am going to give a point to myself as I was able to stump everyone. I will announce the country in a later blog. Until then, good luck with quizzing!

A few questions for clarification:

1. Is the capital population measured by city proper or metropolitan area?

2. Is the area / population table referring to the Wikipedia list, containing several non-countries, or just the JetPunk countries? Or does it not matter which one?

1. I did some investigating, and I could not find out what the answer was. In fact, I could not verify whether or not that clue was true so I changed it. Remember, it may or may not be true.

2. It is based on Wikipedia's list, but it does not matter.

I’m sure there’s other options, but this is probably the only one you wouldn’t have to do research to find out.

I usually do this by picking a country in the first place and visiting the Wikipedia article to get good facts. There are other options, and one of them is ture.

Yes. Number 3 changed because I could not verify whether or not the clue was true or false. The new clue has the same level of accuracy as the old one, it is just easier to verify.
