I am Leaving
Today I am leaving JetPunk. Not permanently (I believe), nor completely, but I will most likely not be active. I might still read comments on my content and take quizzes, but I will probably not post anything.
But Why?
JetPunk was fun for me for a while. Until it was not. I ran out of ideas for quizzes, got bored of either knowing everything on a quiz or having no clue what the answers were, and simply did not enjoy spending time on the site. Outside of JetPunk, I am trying to make friends, and I think I should try to make friends I know in real life instead of people on the Internet whose names I do not even know. Geography knowledge has sort of ruined my social life and I am struggling with depression, so I do not want to visit this site very often.
Will I Return?
I believe I will return someday, but I do not know when that day will be, nor if it will ever come. I want to keep my account so others can take my quizzes. I may read comments on my quizzes, and might even take some as well. But I want to minimize JetPunk's influence in my life. Don't get me wrong, it is a great site. But knowing all of these facts, countries, and pieces of information has made me very unpopular at school, particularly in Social Studies.

Goodbye. I am leaving JetPunk. Thank you to everyone who took my quizzes and allowed me to stay on the site for so long. I look forward to returning in the future. Thanks so much. See you someday. Someday in the future...or someday soon.
Your well-being is the most important thing, I don't think any of us will disagree with that!
The internet in general can become an addiction in the same way as alcohol or tobacco, there is no shame in taking time out and relaxing.
When I first joined JetPunk I used to worry about takes, and what people thought of me, but now it doesn't bother me in the slightest if I don't make a quiz or if one I made doesn't get takes.
At 61, I just make blogs and quizzes to keep my brain active. It appears to be working.....hopefully!
