Accept "conquer the world" for the Risk question?
+1
level 51
Apr 14, 2017
Agreed. The question needs to be more lenient, like accepting 'conquer' and 'rule' and 'power' and 'control'.

I think World 'Dominance' should be allowed, that is actually the objective.

Please accept "Seven wonders" or "7 wonders". People are only getting it because it fills in "Wonder" when you fill in the answer for the Louis Armstrong song.

'Third World' doesn't mean LEDCs. It's a popular myth but it's one I'm not sure we should really proliferate, given that most people consider it to be some kind of ranking.

Third world is actually countries that supported neither the US or USSR it just happens to be a lot of African countries, Sweden and Finland were neutral in the cold war so they are classified as third world. It just happens to be that the poor african countries are third world.

While arguably the most famous, Guinness are by no means the only trackers of world records. For example, RecordSetter (no others are springing to mind currently)...

I wouldn't say it's "arguably" the most famous. The Guinness Book of World Records is the best-selling copyrighted book of all time. Besides, the clue doesn't say anything about them being the only tracker of world records; it just says that world records are what Guinness tracks, which is an objective statement of fact.
