I'm not sure in what sense 'freemason' is a 'historical' term. Freemasonry is current today and, so far as I know, isn't associated with any particular era. If anyone knows different, I will be happy to learn.
Some ambiguous items here. Does landed estate always have a manor on it? I agree with a earlier statement that omens are not necessarily signs from heavens, but simply warnings or portents. And boy did "period in history" throw me - I tried renaissance, middle ages, stone age. Didn't realize it wanted a synonym for period, not an example of one. Sigh....
